I don’t remember much about my grandfather. I met him twice, but I only remember meeting him once because I was very young back then. We went to mamaghar for dashain as I remember. I was 2 years old back then. He put tika on me and told me not to touch the thali. That is my first and last memory of him. I have heard great stories about him. Some supernatural, some interesting, some surprising ones. My favourite one is when he talked to people about aswoshthama rishi. I was 4 when he passed away. I didn’t bid him farewell for the last time. I remember he was tall. His complexion was light. He had grey eyes. I saw him in daura surwal. I have heard great stories about him. My mom told me that he knew almost everything about Nepal’s law. I have heard that he was really talented and he had a great sense of humour. He was very intellectual and intelligent. He was great at arithmetic math. I was so surprised to hear that he would write horoscope of a a fetus (an unborn child), without any technological help he would write horoscopes (चिना). I would have loved to see him now. I would have loved to ask him questions. I would have loved to know how he was who he was. I would have loved to learn about his experiences. This is all I know about him though. I never met him well enough to know him, but he is a person who everyone knows about and I also know that he looks over all of us and we will always have his blessing.
